What is a commercial pilot?

As a commercial pilot, you are finally able to fly for compensation and hire. This means you can make money as a professional pilot. This is a crucial and exciting step in building a career in aviation.

What is required of me?

Most of your commercial pilot training is building the flying hours required by the FAA, which is 250 total time. Within that time, you will train with me to learn some new maneuvers and improve your confidence and proficiency in the aircraft. There is a written test and checkride you will need to pass to get your certificate.

How long will it take?

Because most of your commercial pilot training is based on time building, it can go as fast or slow as you need. Most pilots complete the training within about 2 months, but can vary based on personal needs, weather, and aircraft maintenance.
